A native of Liverpool Nova Scotia, Mezzo-Soprano Tracy Reynolds is well on her way to an exciting career. Tracy’s recent engagements include 3rd Lady (Die Zauberflote) with the Halifax Summer Opera Workshop, Prince Orlofsky (Die Fledermaus) with Rubato Casual Opera, Marguerite (La Dame Blanche) with Opera in Concert, Alto Soloist (Bach’s Magnificat) with Oakville Choral Society and Orchestra. Other credits include featured soloist in Toronto Operetta Theatre’s Offenbachienne Gala Concert, Ruggiero (Alcina) with the Halifax Summer Opera Workshop, a Nova Scotia concert tour, performing as part of the St. Cecilia Concert Series and as the Alto soloist in (Durufle’s Requiem) with the Runnymede United Chancel Choir.

Tracy has sung Mrs. McLean in Susannah with the Janiec Opera Company in Brevard, North Carolina, Mrs. Peachum with Harvard Lowell House production of Threepenny Opera, under the musical direction of Kurt Weill expert Harry Huff, Jenny with the NEC Opera Theatre production of There Once was a Girl Named Jenny: The Music of Kurt Weill under the direction of Metropolitan Opera director, Marc Astafan. Tracy was the Nova Scotia representative and finalist at the National Music Festival in Kamloops, British Columbia, Utah Opera’s Patricia Weinmann directed Tracy as the 1st Lady in NEC Outreach Opera The Magic Flute and under Christopher Larken’s baton, she sang the role of Destino (La Calisto). She performed the role of Dido (Dido and Aeneas) with the Blue Engine String Quartet.

Tracy was a fellow at the Brevard Music Festival in North Carolina, the Banff Centre of Performing Arts, Halifax Summer Opera Workshop and Scotia Festival of Music. She completed her Masters in Music Degree and a Graduate Diploma from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston under the instruction of Patricia Misslin.  She graduated with her Bachelor of Music from Acadia University where she studied with Marie McCarthy.
