Stephanie Braganza has been performing and singing since the age of twelve. In preparation for music school she studied with drama teacher Tom Murphy, and guitarist and music teacher, Bernie O’Connor. She was accepted at several music schools, notably Queens University for Clarinet. As well as having her grade 6 in conservatory piano, Stephanie decided to attend the jazz music program at Humber College for Voice as this was her foremost passion and strength. She has graduated from Humber under the tutelage of such teachers as Pat Labarbara, Rik Emmett (Triumph), and Trish Colter. In her first and second year at Humber College, she made it to the top R&B/funk ensemble: Blue Jackets Required. She received her degree in music in 2008.

Stephanie has done commercials, jingles, corporate jazz/top 40 gigs at hotels and weddings, and has sung lead in musicals such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Godspell. She sang backup for rap artist Belly and Ginuwine at the 2007 Muchmusic Video Awards. In 2008, her track “Fantasy” (music written by Marco Marquez from Sub Level Music) reached #5 on the beatsdigital.com charts. Stephanie continues to showcase her talents all over Toronto and the rest of Ontario with her top 40′s band, and is currently pursuing her original material with her debut album ‘Unexpected’ and performing the material with her 5 piece band.

Stephanie Braganza is a powerhouse vocalist and most often performs her music with a full band. Though only in their 20s, the bands’ musical prowess belies their vernal years. Stephanie studied with such greats as Juno award winner Rik Emmett (Triumph), Pat LaBarbera, and Trish Colter. Invited to sing with rap artist Belly and Ginuwine at the Muchmusic Video Awards, and at hot clubs throughout Ontario, Stephanie Braganza is a sparkling singer whose star is on the rise.
