Kelsey is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and teacher living in Toronto. Originally from Ottawa, she relocated in 2008 after receiving a Bachelor of Music in Performance from Carleton University to attend Humber College’s Jazz performance program for 2 years. She quickly became an active member of the Toronto music scene.   Kelsey has performed and toured with many bands including The Boxcar Boys, Maylee Todd, Jadea Kelly, Jaron Freeman-Fox and the Opposite of Everything to name a few.   She has recorded on many albums and also leads her own bands.

Her experience in many different styles of music (Jazz, Soul, Pop, Country, Folk and Classical) and her love for improvising and writing make her a very versatile teacher. She has taught private lessons for over 10 years and truly enjoys sharing her excitement for music while exploring its many forms with students. She is dedicated to finding her students area of interest and pursing it while giving them the basis to continue on in any style(s) they choose.
